For example, our new plant in Lebring was equipped with a dense phase system from Nordson. A great advantage of this system is the low consumption of air, which not only saves energy and costs, but also enables a completely new powder coating with reduced powder consumption.
As a substitute for the sulphuric acid pickling process, we use a neutral cleaner of the “Novaclean N” brand with a pH value of 6-7. It is an eco-friendly rust and descaling agent for iron and non-ferrous metals in the immersion, flood and spray process.
It is non-corrosive, non-toxic and non-flammable. A pool temperature of 55 ° C is sufficient to remove additional stubborn dirt, rust and loose scale from the surface. Sharp cut edges, such as laser cut edges, are chemically defused so that a coating layer can also be built up in this area.
